Rain, Rain, go away! Exotic Car Night returns Saturday night, July 28. We will be at Carson's. They're opening the patio bar early just for us. What is Exotic Car Night? Usually one of the more popular of our local Ferrari Club events, it's a combination informal no awards car show, social happy hour, food, dancing, music, and other good times. Our seats are in a perimeter room with the bar as we overlook our cars in front. If you're a member of another exotic car club, please pass along the invitation. Everyone is invited. Carson's is located at the Tollway and Trinity Mills. We usually start around 7:00 PM and continue from there. There's no entry fee (naturally), but I believe Carson's charges a small cover after 9. We'll have some reserved tables in the patio and some designated parking out front. If you have questions, please pm me or call 214-695-4764
So, is this more of a just a group of guys chilling rather than a 'meet' for Ferrari owners to see each others' cars? If so, I'll pass. I wouldn't want to be a disturbance at what is supposed to be a get together, not a car show everyone and their brother.
Well....I've gone to several of these meets. It starts out as a meet in the parking lot, then everyone moves inside for drinks & hangs out. Carson's is 21+
Turnouts are usually on the larger side (30+) versus a small clique of friends. Besides the Ferraris being out, you'll also see Lambos, the Lotus guys, Porsches, etc. You won't feel out of place and you wont be breaking up a private get together. Hangout in the parking lot to see the cars or go instead for a beverage, your call.
Well, in that case, I suppose I'll make a quick stop, then. @Bimmer, I kind of figured it was 21+, but I don't think that's quite stopped me before.
I know some of y'all are on other exotic forums and email lists. If you can get the word out to the local Lotus, NSX, Porsche type groups I'd appreciate it
Is it okay to come if I don't own any exotic cars? I'm a big fan, and enjoy seeing the cars, taking pictures, and meeting all the great people, but alas, an exotic is not in the budget. Just thought I'd ask and make sure this wasn't a very exclusive get together.
I hope to go, but not sure where I'll be that weekend yet. I also need to find someone to go with, too.
We are in. Don't know what we will bring, sort of depends on what is in and what is out of the garage.
I'd vote for a particular shade of red, since I've yet to see that car in person. Yellow cars are too common, you sometimes see those 2 to a garage.
