As the topic states, I'm just curious to reactions...
I guess I'm just boring, but I've never done any (street) drugs. Beer and Vodka are about it for me (although not very often). BT
I put in a LSD in my Integra when my transmission went out at a trackday, makes so much better difference for fast cornering during autocross.
I worked with a guy who told me a funny story. John and his friend were flying to Mardi Gras one year, and they were seated next to a nervous young guy in a suit heading to his first fly-away business meeting. John and his buddy thought they would try to time their arrival, so they took acid when the pilot made the 20-minute to landing announcement. Shortly after that, the plane was forced to circle for an extra half hour, so John and his buddy broke into their remaining mini bottles of gin. Pretty soon they were starting to feel a little loose, and when the plane hit some turbulence John accidently dumped his drink on the kid in the suit, who was now probably late for his meeting. He said they felt horrible, but couldn't stop laughing hysterically at what happened. Poor kid probably showed up late stinking like gin.
Wasn't LSD legal until the very late 60's or early 70's? I saw an old episode of Dragnet on TV Land a couple of years ago. Some kid was wacked out on LSD and the police could only charge him with some minor offence because it was not illegal to use it at that time.
It was as was mushrooms..the new legal hallucinogenic out there is salvia... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salvia_divinorum ... http://www.salvia.net/
Haha, I work with Lawyers. I should have known better than to leave that open to interpretation.. Caveat: NO ILLEGAL ILLICIT NARCOTICS EVER!! I drink regularly, coffee and alchohol and smoke cigars.
yes. it was made illegal in '65 if i recall correctly. i took it in the summer of '64. i was an unique experience. never did it again though. i didn't like the amount of time it took the get my head straight afterwards. drinking hangovers are usually gone by noon but that stuff lingered for days.
It was popular again back in the mid 80's. I worked in a fast food place back around 85-87. A few of the guys I worked with (all of us were in high school) used it a lot. They used to hide it in the freezer wrapped in foil. I was too afraid to get near it so I decided to stick with simple under age drinking.
