Wow, that's a damn nice spot! I don't really like the styling of the Veyron, but after seeing those pictures of it in solid black I'm starting to think maybe it's not so bad after all...

Ive seen a couple Veyrons running out in Monterey during Concourso Weekend, but Ive gotta say that the all-black Body is outstanding!

 

Those are great pictures. I hate the look of the car but what it can do is amazing let alone seeing one in person. It is just a rare experience.

I also read the writeup and it was darn funny, especially the conversation part with the thread poster and Ralph Lauren.

 

That's a pretty awesome experience. And the car looks badass in all black. I don't like the two-tone scheme it normally has.

 

What a great story, RL sounds like a great guy to talk to.

Cool experience but I agree....dude needs to get out more. Honestly if I were to pull some stalker **** like that I would not admit it on the internet. IF that was me driving I would not have stopped if I saw some crazy guy busting u-turns on the highway and following me.

 

I've seen 4 in person and still don't think there is anything special about it. Everything about it screams "heavy". It looks heavy even when stopped

I don't know why people post links to other forums rather than just posting the pictures on here. Did anyone save any of those pics? What color is it?

 

I got to spend some time with this bugatti as mike even hinted that I knew this car. I saw it after it came off the plane. It's got a few thousand miles on it already. Interior is ALL black.

some of you may know, my old man is ralph's right hand man. i've gotten a ride in this veyron and it's incredible. very fast, very smooth, and very quiet. I've also ridden in ralph's Mclaren LM, and it's even better. It feels much faster than the veryon and is essentially a race car. he took me for a ride at 220 mph on 684 and i nearly crapped my pants. Ralph is an unbelievable gentleman when it comes to his cars, and is just one of the nicest guys a car guy could ever meet. In fact, the first "exotic" i ever drove was ralph's 550 Barchetta when i was 19 years old. It was an amazing experience, and i still drool over them.

BTW, you guys should see his 75 car garage in montauk, he has about 400 million in cars there. Insane.

 

^^ 220mph on 684, are you serious? I woulda crapped my pants just for fear of getting busted by the State Troopers on there. But's that's awesome though .

 

what's really awesome is the fact that in the LM there isn't any sound dampening, so you have to wear these air traffic controller headphones to talk to each other. it's pretty nasty.
