Make sure you contact some of the Ferrari guys directly Adrian, with the apparent cruise/run the same day I'm sure everyone wants the turnout as good as last year for the charity

 

Wow. That was really nice of you to say.
It was an honour, believe me. And a really great event at that... Kudos to you for organizing it.
Right now i am leaning toward the P3/4. I touched it up yesterday and finished it off by continuing the artwork to the sides of the canvas. All that's left is to wire it and it'll be hangable "as is" - framing by the owner would be optional. A definite plus.
The one small concern is the size. Its 36x40 inches. Alot larger than last year's. I have an easle for it, i just hope there is ample room... dont want to crowd things....
Oh, and one question... when are items expected to be delivered?

Hi Adrian. I posted on Rennlist as you requested.

If you ever wanted to SuperSize the event, just put out the word to the Corvette Forum & NSXPrime. You would have to move to a much larger venue though.

I'd post it on a few forums as well but you would see a bunch of 240's and Nissan Skylines show up so for now it will simply be me with a friend showing up again!

 

Although there is a conflict with the FCA event my wife and I will be there Adrian. Unfortunately the FCA event is also for charity. How long will you need us there Adrian? Maybe I could do both...

 

Copy that. I said yes to Adrian first so that is where I will be. I really enjoyed the Cory's drive last year but a commitment is a commitment. Jay, last year the "Simcoe Run" was an all day affair from about 10am - 4pm. The charity portion of it was at the end where people bought rides in the cars. It would probably be possible to scoot up for that and do a good deed that way but the fun run is usually in the morning.

 

I was there last year too Ed, did we meet? Went to Cory's place after for drinks, real nice. If you want to go up together and do both...?

 

Im doing the Cory run, and im meeting Newman up there. I think your 2 pisanos are attending as well.

If o can make it back to Adrians on time i will, but i commited first to that one (though i thought i committed to this first)...my mix up.

Yup we did. We actually spoke more at the concours this year than at the Cory's last year. I actually have some things going on that make it hard to do both in one day. I think I am just going to stick close to home and just do Adrians in case I have to run out and back.

 

How many cars do you have booked?

Ive heard that there is a conflict with another event. If you're still looking for cars, let me know. I may be able to make it with my NSX.

 

Sad to see the rain scare some people away. I was there yet again but had to leave around 3. Good turnout, amazing pizza and it was a fun atmosphere good job!
