are you sure ? any details ? Today: Red srt-10 Red F430 spider lowered TDF Blue F430 coupe / novitec rims
no i dont have any details, i just want them to get it... (lowered TDF Blue F430 coupe / novitec rims) sweet spot..
TDF? is that the one with a cream interior? i think is only one TDF in Vancouver??? if it is, then i believe it has a tubi on it.
I've seen that TFD blue Coupe before. Both times in West Van, it does have Tubi exhaust. Today: red/tan 430 Spider
Thinking about another Italian car, in the Vancouver area. Any good inspectors up in the area? Thank you in advance for your tips- Kraig

on average yes . . . vancouver contains a lot of nice cars. probably a lot more (on average based on population) than many US cities and other Canadian cities.
anyone know the msrp for an f430 from the factory for canadians? also how much would you suppose shipping one in would run? ive read somewhere thats msrp is ~160-230$ for people in the states.
Although you can determine the the MSRP for the F430 (which is 270k-280k ish for a coupe, 30k-45k more for spider) in Canada the waiting list is so long it doesnt make sense in using it as a figure when buying the 430 unless you are already on the list. You either pay over to buy it off someone from the waiting list or some how squeeze in if someone leaves. You can pay over (20k +) for a pretty new/ slittly used 07 (which is still fairly hard to get). Or u can pay 250k-275k for a 05 or 06 one. Importing . . . I would not even consider doing that especially on Ferrari and if it is from Europe. If you buy one from Europe they would most likely void the warrenty. No warrenty on these new cars arent worth taking the risk. As for importing from the US . . . Good Luck with that! . . . first thing is you would have to deal with issue of importing it (government . . .) . . . the second thing is the US is way overpriced for the car. Most them even sell more than someone paying over (20k +) or buying someone's spot for a new car.
Are you look to buy one? if so I think its better to look for "used" vehicles rather than ordering a new one.
Search is your friend: "MSRP for a F430 Coupe, 6 speed is $251,595, F1 is $269,258" Generally, the cars in Canada hold around MSRP for the current model year and drop from there. US cars are VERY easy to import, but finding one that "makes sense (cents? hahahaha!)" is difficult due to the US market being so much stronger for the car. Most 05s are still up to $20k over list down there and it get's higher as the car gets newer. There's usually no monetary advantage, but the selection makes some cars attractive for those looking for something specific. Don't forget the $2k from FNA for a recall letter! Edit: Our "crazy" friend is misinformed with regards to the waiting lists up here. I've been told by FMOV that I could order an F430 coupe now for winter/early spring 08 delivery. Spiders are about 18 monts. A little wait, but nothing like you see down south.
Oopps I forgot to type spider on the waiting list LOL. . . but coupe i still thought u still have to wait a bit . . . maybe ppl in Calgary get it faster since there is no dealership there? (the are able to force ppl in BC to wait hehehehe)
thanks for the answers guys! spotted wheredidtheygo's f430 spyder this morning, looks good. spotted it again on old island highway.
