    This is Revell's 599GTB converted to a barchetta. I cut the top off then molded in engine covers from the Porsche CGT as headrests. The body paint is Tamiya Black Metallic ans TS13 clear. Interior is Acryl Vermin Brown, Sloth Brown and PollyScale Engine Black.

    The rims are from Fujimi's 599. The chrome Pininfarina, Ferrari and Cavallino emblems are Crazy Modeler...the yellow badges are MSM's peel and stick.

    I built it curbside without too much trouble....a few boo boo's here an there and the hood is badly warped.

    Very nice.....

    Just add some tan roll bars and a glass cover over the engine....just my opinon:)

    Wow sweet. I hate to say it but you beat me to it. I have a 1:18 one already converted and almost ready. I just never found the time to finish it. Great work. The paint looks really good too.

    Erm, the 599 is front engine. Roll bars are actually made, just got lazy.

    The only thing you'd see with a glass cover is a spare tire and some golf clubs! :D

    Haha, would look pretty interesting with a glass engine cover on the front there.

    The model looks amazing, great work on molding the CGT cover onto the back of the car. The paint came out very nice as well.

    Wow, stunning job! The paint is excellent. I cannot imagine Ferrari not producing a 599 Spider and if they do, I hope it looks a lot like this one.
