FCA Ferraris and Friends Day at TGPR Saturday, August 4th Join us for a fun driver's education track day at Talladega Grand Prix Racetrack (a roadcourse about 10 miles from the big oval). The track has been newly redesigned and rebuilt. $250/car for FCA members, $275 for non-members. Additional drivers or guests only $10 each. Participation is limited to only 25 cars, so you get as much driving as you can stand on a fun, low-stress track! For online sign-up and additional details, go to www.fca-se.com/cc Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hey who is up for the track day. This sticky post has been sitting here for a bit. Is everyone on vacation ? No f-cars running, dont ask about mine. My little cobra with the no stick BFG will make it dont like those tires any way but after 2 laps 4 wheel drifts are fun. The admission is cheap compared to a speeding ticket like leaving a car show. Barbers entry fee is starting to look like a bargain. So is showing up and what are we bringing? Mike
Hi Mike - I'm bringing the Mondial - and leaving the radar detector OFF! Mine started blaring as I got within a mile of you after I left Helena - sorry. Bring something fun - would enjoy seeing you.
We've got a number of signups... they're coming through the online site at www.fca-se.com/cc but more discussion here is welcome too! And don't forget dinner at The Victoria on Friday night.
How many people do we have? Are you guys going to stay the night at VIctoria on Friday night? Roy & Diana
Mike, For some reason I just saw this post this morning. I'll ask the Clan if they want to come. If so we'll stay at the Victoria. Do you still have space? Please email me directly
Mike and everyone: I just signed up to bring my STi. Sold the 308 last year to buy our current house. If anyone is bringing a 550 or 575, please reserve me a ride (I'll be in the gray Subaru) as that will be my next Ferrari, and I've never ridden in one. Thanks, I'm really looking forward to getting on the new and improved TGPR! -Lee
All right, I'm in. Just renewed my FCA membership and paid. Been a while since I did this, but August 4th is my birthday so what the heck. Drew
ALL "NON-FERRARI" SPOTS ARE NOW SOLD OUT If you haven't already registered, it's too late unless you're an FCA member bringing a Ferrari...
$10 per person to watch and/or ride. You can sign up at www.fca-se.com/cc as a guest. You have to arrive prior to the 9am safety briefing.
Mike, I am so swamped with stuff after my Peru trip, but I'll try to come over to watch. The car needs a belt change soon and don't want to push it.
Hi All, I know Mike has got Friday night's dinner reservations but last time there were about 8 of us that had a wonderful time eating on Saturday night at the Victoria also. Talked about the day's events and how great drivers we were or at least how great we think we are! I would like to say myself, my two son's, my daughter-in-law, and grand daughter are planning on eating Saturday night at the Victoria and would love some company. 1/2 the Clan + coming, it's going to be great!!
EDIT: WE HAVE THREE FCA-FERRARI SPOTS LEFT, ALL OTHERS ARE SOLD OUT Guests are still welcome, $10 at the gate but you MUST be there before 9am when the gate will be locked and we start the safety briefing. Remember that we're also planning to have an "open touring session" for guests to drive their own cars on the track for a few laps during lunchtime. Go to the sign-up page for more info.
