Seriously? Man come to the Carlsbad Meet on Saturday. I would love to see that car in person. The color looks cool with the yellow calipers. It would be great to see someone from the Pac Northwest down here. A bit homesick I guess.
yep yep i am here and holy crap it took a long time to get from carslbad to san diego. wtf is with the traffic down here these days? I remember when 52 had like 5 cars on it. per day. timing the below photo is a lot harder than you'd think. you have to calculate with 'likely traffic issues', and all that crap. that was yesterday. i think i win the award for 'most miles on f-car in one week award' since i am like 1500 or something. Nice work, Grashopper. You show promise, but must keep working on it. I really like the car, as much for someone actually having the nerve to order it how they want, not how they think they should want, as for the color itself!! Excellent!!! Now start putting some serious miles on it! Our longest week was Seattle to Hattiesburg, Ms: about 4200 miles. Keep working at it and maybe in another 16 months, you can take a pic like this one. i ought to creep past 2k tomorrow morning, and should be at 3k before i get back up there in a couple days. i think i will have averaged something like 300 miles/day sinec i bought the car. so, obviously up in WA, i have heard some weird 'UW' purple comments, which is kinda understandable i guess or whatever. (no i didnt go to uw and no i dont care much about their sports teams). but down in socal, the comments are all 'omg are you affiliated with the lakers?' gah! there is a lot of dirty stuff on it right now. and a lot of dead bugs. it's pretty gross.
Haha wow well I'll keep my eyes out while I am on the freeway for a purple blur. The color is growing on me, but idk about the tan interior. I think black with yellow stitching and piping (to match the calipers) would really bring it together but to each his own.
Yes, my Dino is Purple and I have owned it since new. It was never owned by Mr. Ferrari, but I know he personally approved of my color choice as he told me so. The Dino was and is a wonderful car that was really too short lived. At any rate, I think the color would be striking and handsome in either a 430 or 599. It's a good choice.
I've only seen pictures of your Dino, but I think the color really suits that car well. I agree that the Dino was too short lived, but with its impending re-birth it will hopefully get a successor worthy to bear the same name.

normally i would harass you all and tell you about it's purpleness. however, considering that i fail http://home.sc.rr.com/mikebennett/colorblind.html#Plate2 amongst others, i gues smaybe i cant see. but then again, wouldn't i have learned purple as a different color than the rest of you?
