Guys I saw these new 355 wheels on ebay. I'm looking for a really nice set for my 348. I've emailed the seller twice now simply asking if the wheels are manufactured by Speedline and if they have the Speedline logo and serial number stamped inside the rim. I also attached this picture I sent him for reference. Seems like he avoids the question (I guess that could be my answer). Does anyone know if these are the same 355 replica wheels that Ferrari Parts Exchange sells? Or are they real Speedline originals? Also the phone number listed in the ad is a Southern California area code, but I think Silverado in in Northern California?

I have a genuine full set of 355 wheels that I'm willing to sell. I have new factory wheels on my car, and was going to use the old ones for wet weather tires. Problem is I'm in Hong Kong, they have been re-bushed with Hills bushes and need to be painted now. Only one has been lightly rubbed, it will be repaired. If anyone is interested PM me and I'll see what I can do.

I don't see how the offset can be 8.75" on a 10" wheel. Offset (from whatI have read) is fromthe centerline, so the max would be around 4". The offset should be stamped on the wheel also (in millimeters). I would not bid as they are adverstised as 'factory replacement wheels'. The seller can say they were not advertised as factory original wheels which is what you are expecting.

And when I asked him "all I want to know is are these wheels manufactured by Speedline" his response was what kind of car is this going on. I mean if they aren't the real deal just tell me.

The seller is either uninformed or deceitful. Either way I would look elsewhere.

    A couple of things....

    1. His ad on eBay says the brand is speedline. That may be different to Speedline, but there is some recourse available there.

    2. He's selling a Mondial/355 shock gear for 199. The Mondial t part is different to a 355 part, and we have them for $30, so 199 is a little steep :) http://www.ricambiamerica.com/product_info.php?products_id=261324

    3. I would never buy anything off eBay unless I knew the seller personally or they were a business I knew through other means. That said, I'm selling something on eBay now, but y'all know me :)

Thanks. I'm meeting with an f chat member is morning to look at a possible trade his 355 wheels for my Ferrari other wheels. These wheels were plan c depending if the wheels this morning or some other possible trades don't work out. Just makes me made that the guy just won't answer a direct question.

I know this guy, I've been to his house. it's in silverado canyon, OC. he's a decent guy with loads of experience on muscle cars, restoration work and hot rodding. the 355 rims he sells are takeoffs acquired in many ways I don't ask. the bolts in my opinion I would not use, as an engineer I can say that they are not made properly for the intended use. from talking to him he sells the rims to other ferrari owners as replacements or 'upgrades' to other models, why one would put 355 rims on another model I don't get but hey to each his own.

    BTW his prices are steep!

Scott, his ad says these are brand new wheels. I just want to know if they are brand new manufactured by Speedline wheels or knock offs like the ones that Nick mentions from Tanners earlier in the thread. Unfortuneately when asked directly he won't give me a straight answer.

It WILL fit a Mondial. I really want to put it on mine, but my wife will kill me. She knows how much I paid for it.

It came to me in a truck (FedEx) which technically is not a car...
