Dino Restoration

powder coating is the way to go - especially on this over the top beauty. I am in the process of having a set of Cromodora 'daytona' cd 35 magnesium wheels powdercoated for my pristine Alfa Romeo. I found a virtually identical to original powdercoat color and should have the wheels back - perhaps within a week. Let me know if you want the color code reference...I will have to research it with the fellow doing the work. He did the wheels on my Range Rover in this exact color as well - kind of a duller gray color. The result on those wheels is awesome! Love your car and the job you are doing!! More photos of that lovely blue body!!!

Have you given any thought to weighing the engine before you reinstall it? Or the entire engine/transaxle assembly?

If you get into a bind on stainless screws, give Specialty Tool & Bolt in Santa Barbara a call. Amazing inventory of stainless hardware. 805-968-3581. They have a website www.sbbolts.com but if you want price and delivery, call. They can ship UPS or FedEx and you can have parts the next day. Good folks.

Thank god that window didn't break, I don't think you could find something like that anywhere in the world anymore... The drivetrain goes in next? or all the interior pieces?
