    Strange...Cromodoras usually have raised cast lettering but I'd agree those look like early "soft edged" Cromodoras to me...later Campagnolos have harder edges to the mold pattern as do Speedlines.

    I wouldn't call that road rash. It looks like a lot of chipped paint no doubt due to improper tire mounting. But 205/70VR14s are tough to mount on the 7 1/2" wheels and especially getting them inflated. It can be done gently, however, with the right equipment.

    Chipped paint is correct. They were like that when I got 'em. A wheel repair place could fix them fairly easily, I bet. But since I did not drive with them, I had no need to fix them up.

    Call it what you will (road rash or chipped paint), I do not know how they got that way. But I can tell you they are straight, and have almost new rubber.
