I will add that I had a great time today as well. WOW, how the show has grown in the last couple of years! Really nice having all the F-cars on the hill. Kenny, thanks for getting us southshore guys together for the drive up, nothing like a few 100+mph runs to get your blood going in the morning. And I always end up meeting more of "us" from the chat. Had a great time talking with John and Natalie in their stunning 360 spider, Tim in his 430, Steve leading the way from the Cape to Bridgewater. Seeing Dan's new "toys" and enjoying talking to his lovely wife Lisa and hearing her talk with passion about the cars and activities. Very nice to see one's partner as involved and enthusiastic as one of the "boys"! I am sure a good time was had by all. Birdman and I even tried getting Doody back in the fold to buy another car, but he is a tough egg to crack, but there is time!!! Thanks again. David
Can't get the link to work - but a great day anyway. I sure could have used a cup of coffee when I arrived - Next year will def stop at Stabucks on the way in.
Thanks Ray. I believe you're the owner of that fantastic countach! I tried to get some good shots of it, but there were so many people around it. RMDC, the link should read, F L I C K R.com, but the forum is blocking it out because it thinks i'm using vulgar language. Image Unavailable, Please Login
DAVE ! What a great guy! it was just as great hanging out with you Dave, Tim, Kenny and the whole crew, me and Nathalie enjoyed all of you guys company so much. What a blast we had on the Highway, it was better than a cup of coffee. Tim you and your wife are adorable and enjoyable, Nathalie is already saying she hopes to go shopping with her and Beth, UH OH, sounds like trouble. Rich (RMDC) you are truly a stand up guy, we busted each others B*LL's in the beginning but I truly have respect and admiration for you. Owning a Ferrari, you make a lot of friends, but the best kind are friends who have their own LOLLLL !!!
It was great to see some old friends and meet a few new ones. Thank you Dave for your help in getting my little Alfa up to the show. The Alfa took 2nd place in it's class and would of wone if I had finished the top in time for the show as I was deducted 20 points for not having it. But the judges were inpresed with the car as it was judged a second toime for best of show. As you stated Dave the show and quality of cars has realy grown. Untill next year David
I say when the Southshore get's built up a little, we have a "rumble" between the north and south. Of course I now know John will be on the southshore side so I am pretty confident who will win!!!!!!!!!
It was good seeing everyone again. So many awsome cars! The 599 was incredible. I was a bit mystified with the judging. Not sure why they asked me to open and close my doors. Does anyone know why they immediatly felt my exaust - actualy to be more specific, the exaust coming from my pipes after I started the engine? Just wondering...... - Ron
