I have these - I don't have any of the whole car because IIRC the engine was out and everything when I was there. My first time sitting in a Countach though - man, is it tiny in there. I don't know if you've changed the angle of the steering column but I couldn't actually get my (admittedly thick) legs around the wheel to touch the pedals, at least not in a way that resembled a driving position. Tom told me that you can unbolt and move the wheel though.

Ryan. If push comes to shove, you can gain an inch or two, and mount the seat directly on top of the floorboard. As far as myself, I fit in everything !!

Of course, the cheaper and more sensible thing would be to lose weight! I think I'd go for a Diablo if/when I am ready for a Lambo. I would really love an orange 6.0... but I probably couldn't wait and would just get an early 2wd car.

Probably the very best bargain used, genuine 200mph exotic Italian supercar on the market today. - It is also fully depreciated. You simply pay for maintainance. Buy an up to date and serviced car, and your ownership experience will probably be painless. A decent car, starts in the bottom 90's.

A 512TR is another alternative. A clutch in the Diablo can be protected. The problem with the 512TR, is their is no way to protect the cam belts.

I'd be happy to help you find a transporter for you to transport your car and with safe and sound conditions, remember anyone can transport a car and give a great price.. but it's the safety and assurance you get out of a trusted transporter. We ship cars across country all the time and I will not charge on top of another transporters actual price. Happy to help in assuring you get your car to Concorso. See you there!

    Best Regards,

    Carlo E. Rubio

It is your kind of car.

Firm suspension, no belt service required/clutch can be protected, tight fitting cockpit, lightweight by street supercar standards, very little body roll, V-12 4 overhead cams with transmission in the middle, excellent tires/grip, sits at about 41 inches, no front end drop on braking, exotic design, and excellent handling/balance etc...

    bad traits ?

terrible aerodynamics, exterior visibility, clutch brake pedal placement (too close), and you must learn to protect the clutch. I personally like the clutch and steering effort, and lack of space inside the interior.

When I saw it the wing was having some corrosion issues, probably better without it.

The corrosion issues must have been fixed before I purchased the car because the wing is in great condition now. I took if off because I think that it looks better without it.

Lambos have chains instead of cam belts, of course.
In a Ferrari, you change the cam belts...expensive.
But, on a Lamborghini, should the chains have a manteinance? Is this manteinance expensive?
