How would I know if I can afford it if there's no price?? :D

I probably should just delete the entire thread since selling your car in a thread is a TOS violation, but I figured I'd give him a shot at letting us know how much he wants. Seems to me it's easier to sell something when potential buyers know the price.

We ain't ebay here, after all.

Nobody was offended, at least I wasn't!! :D

It just always seemed to me that Gerald's approach at Ferrari Market Letter was the best.

If you want to sell something on FML, you have to list it with a price, or he won't put it in the Letter.

Now anyone who sees your thread will know what you want, and you'll get more qualified inquiries.

Best of luck with the sale, she's a beauty.

    Dave

IMO I think it's better to do what you did originally. Too many crack pots can take a shot at your asking price when they are not in the market to buy or ever will be. The FML is a different beast and a more static form of selling. No one can knock you when your listing something there.(probably why the asking prices are so outrageous) I guess you just take your chances when you advertise on an open forum, with anyone sitting behind a puter that can claim you're asking too much. Good luck with the sale.

PS - your reach is much better putting it here vs. the ad section. I never bother to check that out but would certainly notice it here.
