    The improvement in the exhaust note alone is worth the expense. The 0-2hp is just a bonus. IMHO :D

    Hey Daniel, the steering wheel spacer is awesome. I think I'll leave the seat on it's tracks now.
    I think the best way to improve the performance of my 348 is for me to do push ups, push up away from the table. If I could lose 40-50lbs, my car would really fly. Then I'd get flow thru cat pipes. This is a quiet bedroom community, and when I start my Ferrari, I want everyone to Wake Up!. What's that sound?, oh that's just Bee Jay starting up his Ferrari. Cool!

    Yeah, we can all get along! I just seems Fchat has been so damn nasty and mean lately, it's a real put-off.

    Gratuitous pictures are always welcome! Let's see some engine shots, and some 'dusk' shots with the lights up and wheels cocked about 30 degrees. That is, IMHO, the "money shot" on a 348.

    Very cool mate, congrats. :):) I HATE the standard plates we have here in Queenland. They are sh*t, so I was quick to get PAP 348 in black/white. Looks great IMO. :):)

    The hood won't stay up. I gotta get new strut shocks. How do I get the headlights to stay up with the engine off. The Corvette has a car wash button that leaves the lights up so they can be washed with the car.
    I drove the car to work this morning. Do not use second gear till your half way to work! Damn, I keep forgetting that. How come we have to wait for the tranny oil to warm up. This is 2007, we can make synthetic oil that acts like a 5 weight when cold, and a 90 weight when hot, why do we have to avoid second "till the oil warms up"? Even above 4100 rpm, it crunches.

    Put some redline super lightweight shock proof. No more crunching. Easy to do, even I managed to do it myself.

    I took my Mom and sister to the airport in Santa Barbara this morning. I was a little bummed about it because that meant my birthday celebration was officially over, and I won't see my Mom again till Christmas. But hey, in the mail today, I got two really sweet presents. The first one is from Wayne Dempsey of Pelicanparts.com. The second is a flag from Chris. Thanks guys. I think I will celebrate my birth month instead of birthday. So I got about 20 more days of celebration. Anyone else need my address pm'ed to them? I ain't too proud to beg. If anyone has gutted cats or stock cats that I can gut, send them my way.

    I'm surprised the engine is still that grimy after the 30K. The guy who is doing it for me here assured me it would look new and that the valve covers would be bead blasted and powder coated. We'll see what it actually looks like

    I'm taking my first road trip today!!! I am pretty excited about that, ok, I'm jazzed. I'm heading up to Monterey and I'm taking Sylvia, and I'm taking highway 1. A beautiful lady in the passenger seat going up the most beautiful road in the US, to the best automotive event ever, the Concours Italiano and the Monterey Historics. Pretty cool. I took half the day off yesterday to polish and detail the car. My neighbor is an amatuer detailer and he came over with all of his tools of the trade. Polished and cleaned and waxed till the sun went down. He's got this wax that costs $70 a can! I'm not worthy, but the car is. Momma, I'm a big time baller now, I got me a Ferrari and I wax it with $70 a can wax. Check out the final results. I drove the Vette today because it wasn't feeling the love. Put a little wax on it too.

    I'm not taking my laptop, because of the limited limited luggage space, so I'll talk to you guys on Sunday evening or Monday.

    I'm back. Had a blast. Here are a few pictures. The first one is for you PAP, stopped in Cambria for lunch. Walked up and down the streets with the wife shopping. Look what I found, a Down Under Shop. Lots of stuff from Oz. Up the road in San Semion, we pulled off for some seaside pics. Then we cruised by the Hearst Castle. Highway 1 was loaded with tourists and slowed things up a lot, but it sure was beautiful. Next time I'll leave really early or take 101. The drive up was fun, we took our time. The car ran great and the AC came in really handy. The car gets so much attention wherever we go, but the ultimate trip was the crotch rocket motrocylce rider behind us taking a picture of the car on the very windy highway 1. I think he was using his clutch hand to hold the camera. After he shot the picture he passed us and gave a thumbs up.

    I'll post pics from the Concourse Italiano tomorow, including pics of a few of the 348/355 brotherhood that was there. But first I gotta buy some more storage memory. I guess I have to sign up for a higher level to recieve more memory to post any more pics.
