I heard 'Best of Show' went to some guy named Dan with a 288 GTO.....it had such an entourage, the event staff asked him to move it to where all of the 'special' cars were parked in front of the museum entrance.
Ohh I know...Hey...it's an 85. Rust never sleeps.. Let's see how many mirrors that snazzy Lambo has left when it's 22 years old Gotta admit though it bondo'd up pretty good...you'd never know... And what's that about the first rule of Italian driving ?? ...
That some guy Dan just happens to be a moderator of this section LOL ! Glad that car won. It was definately the most incredible car there.
That's news to me! I had to leave early so missd the results etc. I've been away for a few days up at Mont Tremblant with the BMW club, so didn't see this until just now.
Dan360, You should get a plaque in the mail. I had to leave early too and found out I got 2nd place, 308, when I got the plague the other day. Steve
A correct 288GTO and nothing to take home - Sorry Tutto - You lose. I went to this show once a few years ago , and was not impressed. Skipped a few years and decided to go for the opportunity to meet a few FChat folks - Dan your 288 should have swept the field.
