    Hey Guys,

Does anyone know where I can find six of these for my 1979 308GTB?

They’re O.E. Rubber Bushings for the Coolant Reservoir and Oil Cooler. I’ll be needing a total of six of these.

    T. Rutland’s sent me some that were close, but not exact. The little ribs on the side of this bushing are rubber and seem to be absent in all of the aftermarket parts available.

    Any guidance is appreciated.

    Thanks, Chris

there called 'lords mounts' go figure, anyway most places only carry the std not metric threaded ones. as soon as I locate a metric supply I'll post up. otherwise the BMW's use the same ones and are not to expensive.

Daniel at ricambi appears to have them, and at $14 each, how much searching and how much saving do you suppose christoper's gonna get. Spend 3 hours, save a buck or two?

I'd order 'em up from Ricambi and be done with it.

Diameter of the bushing, from what I can tell. I'll try to take a picture later this afternoon comparing the two.... but fair warning, I'm headed out of town for an FCA event shortly... if I don't get it done, it'll need to wait until Monday morning.

    Hey Guys,

Appreciate the responses, but it still isn't the correct one. It seems as if there are only two variations available.

The one you offer has a metal cap that that comes down approx 2-mm down the rubber body.

Sorry, my picture isn't the greatest, but if you look closely, there isn't a metal cap at either end, it's more like protruding rubber rib at either end, these are the one that I'd like to try to get. I’m just a “stickler” for originality.

    Appreciate your help!

    Chris.

Doesn't matter... 102947 as shown on the Ricambi site is the current spec from Ferrari. The part number has not been superseded -- 102947 is in the book, is still an active number from Ferrari, and what we photographed.

They might have changed the design, but unless you can find somebody who has that bushing sitting on the shelf for the last 20 years, I'm not sure you'll find what you're looking for. If you do, that's fantastic and you'll be all set.

(By the way, if you find somebody with that bushing sitting on the shelf for the last 20 years, I'd suggest not buying timing belts from them too! ;) )

You seem hung up on identical but for those who don't car about ribs vs non ribbed, Mercedes uses these to mount all sorts of stuff. They are a lot cheaper than $14 (more like $3).

I strongly recomend calling Daniel or David at Ricambi. Those guys often offer awsome alternatives for those little things.

    Keep it simple.

I've found McMaster-Carr to be an excellent source for all my mechanical needs. Go to catalog page 1314 of this site: (http://www.mcmaster.com/) for isolator mounts. They come in metric/standard, rubber or neoprene, and a wide variety of types and sizes. And they are very resonably priced.

Well, Daniel may be off enjoying himself at some beachside resort, but I'm still here. I think.... It's hot and humid here and I just wanna go for a swim, but it ain't gonna happen for another 7 hours :(

In the meantime, I'll answer any questions I can.
