Berger needs the team to score some points. There is a $30+ million difference between 10th and 11th place in the championship.

I guess you missed his antics at Mont Tremblant...

Extremely professional? Not in the least.

Bourdais is quite good technically. He is educated as an engineer and a friend of mine who was working on the Newman-Haas crew when they tried the Indy 500 told me the story that Craig Hamson (Bourdais' engineer at NHL) would always ask SB what changes he wanted to the car because he had no clue what to do to it. Now, from everyone I've talked to, Hamson is quite a tremendous tool and relies on his driver for WAY too much, but through general engineering knowledge and feel, SB had the car up to speed rather quickly.

+ 1. SB had never been under much pressure except from Tracy. When the top 4 started booting him around at Mt. Tremblant, he was a whiner. We will see.

Well he can't move up to the Nextel cup next year because they're retaining the same drivers. Is he going to spend the rest of this season, and all of the next driving Arca? I was hoping I'd see him take Dario Franchitti's old seat or something.

Atleast he gets to race! I was starting to wonder if he would have no career if they did not find him somewhere to race. I don't want that to happen to the local boy now do I. What is ARCA anyways?

Well Redbull didn't stop backing him when he got fired, so you know some team out there could use that Redbull money. I'm not completely sure what ARCA is, but as far as I know, it's like jr. Nascar.

This is a NASCAR feeder series, in fact it is the same race and series that Montoya made his first start in last year.

ARCA is a rival sanctioning body to NASCAR.
The cars seem similar to me, I'm sure there are a few tech differences.
The way things have worked out, it's like a 3rd tier feeder series, someplace people with money often put their up & coming driver to get them some speedway experience. Ryan Newman ran ARCA for Penske before he got promoted to Cup.

7th in his first car race, not bad. Beat out the likes of Colin Brawn, Dario and Justin Marks. Good for him after all of the crap they said about him.

I'm not surprised. It actually underlines my beliefs of F1 vs American racing.

I was going to watch the race yesterday, but I forgot to set up the Tivo. I did check the results last night and was very happy with the results.
