How about a shot from the back? from what I can see they look good. Can you go wider in the rear?

6/10; a bit too chrome, perhaps a bit too large.
    Excellent quality wheel, though

Agreed. Too bling. Don't keep in character with the car, imo. (since you asked!) :)

    Agree.

The GTO bolts are a bit over the top as well, IMO.

Frankly, I have yet to see a wheel that tops the 16" 308 wheels in looks on the GT4. And knowing that these wheels were in fact a (Euro) option on the GT4 makes them all the more attractive (to me at least).

    But I am biased.... ;)

No, sorry I did not get a shot from the back. I did look though and the tires look much wider that the stock ones do. I like that!

Yes you could probably come up with something but the HRE caps look fine too.

Maybe a bit blingy? Perhaps, but with the stainless around the windows and all I think it pulls it off pretty good. They are 17" wheels, but they don't look as big as I thought they would. I can get a really good deal on these and the tires are practialy new. Its gonna be tough to say no to these! :D

    Cheers!

Too bling for me - especially with all the studs/bolts around the inside of the rim. Without those then maybe otherwise much too "pimp my Gt4" for me I'm 'fraid. Might work in a darker colour, but not chrome.

Dosen't work for me either.... too shiney!!! As Hans has said, can't go wrong with 16" wheels as he has. Will swop my 14" set some time.

I like them, but would agree that non-chromed would have been better.

Really nice wheel, really nice car, but I think the wheels over power the car. Maybe the same wheels but a bit smaller rim and a lower profile tire. I would also add the Ferrari cap in the middle.

    Just IMO.

Some of the guys on here are too much into the "all original" look.

Be different, that way not all you guys look alike when you meet for a cruise.

If you don't want them, let me know and I may be interested in buying them from you.

Be different?? We're talking GT4's here. Kind of different already, isn't it? :D

But we can talk all we want, bottom line is that it is DinoGT4guys's car and therefore his call! Nice thing about wheels is that it is very easy to put the old, stock wheels back on when the aftermarket ones don't look too shiny any more, or a new owner wants the stock look.

So go get those wheels if you like em!! Just be sure to hold on to the old ones..

Everyones being great, I do like the stock look too and the 16" QV wheels look perfect for that. As they should have been from the factory I think! I do believe I can put up with a little bling for a while. Not perfect perhaps but the price is right. They will also greatly enhance the preformance, especially after I put new shocks and springs and new bushings in this winter! Hey, later with the new exhaust too!!! Just keeps getting better with age! Yes? Though I an supprised some of the other GT4 crew have not harpooned me yet! :D Thanks to all! ( especially those who like my lil' Dino too! :D) Love ALL the feed back. Keep it coming!

    Cheers!

Bottom line is that its your car....I say GO FOR IT!!! I happen to like the 328 wheels a little better than the 308QV ones, so I bought a set. I'm going to have to do some extra work to get the fronts on, but what the hell!
I really like the design of the wheels your looking at. I can see the comments on being too much with the chrome. Polished would look nice, but if the price is right and YOU like them, then make sure you post lots of pics when/if you pull the trigger!
    Good luck!

I can tell you from past experience you'll go nuts cleaning all those little fixings on the composite wheels; it was the second happiest day of my life when I went back to stock wheels. IMHO, the original wheels are much nicer.

I am in the no-bling on any cars built before 1990 camp.

What about period correct 70's Gotti's, or BBS's?

IMO they are a bit bling for a GT4 - maybe if they were a satin finish they might work?, when I got my 18" wheels I fretted really hard, but I think they work well. Rear tyres - 235/40 ZR 18, Front tyres - 225/40 ZR 18. Same rolling radius as stock, felt awesome around a track!

A slightly different twist to the thread....we need to find a new word to replace "bling". I know it's in the dictionary of recent english, but I mentioned it to some people and they didnt know what the word meant. And when I explained it, they seemed to feel I made it up.

    Any suggestions?

"Cup of tea" now that's perfect English :)

I suppose the next best thing to Bling would be gaudy

gaud·y1 /ˈgɔdi/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[gaw-dee] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–adjective, gaud·i·er, gaud·i·est. 1. brilliantly or excessively showy: gaudy plumage.
    2. cheaply showy in a tasteless way; flashy.
    3. ostentatiously ornamented; garish.
