Ok, here's the short, The production team experienced their usual difficulties in bringing it to the screen, the "making-of" documentary reveals, including a haunted road in Mexico and a mysterious flaming hand that appeared out of the fire during the climactic tanker explosion. Other crew stories tell of night security guards reporting the tanker trucks rolling with no driver in the cab, when the trucks were clearly handbraked.

Shot on location in Mexicali Mexico, "La Rumorosa" was the site of the final tanker truck scenes. The road had been closed in earlier days by Mexico authorities because it has the high fatality rate and is rumored to be haunted.
