Can anybody please advise me how to adjust the low beam headlight on a 2000 360 F1. It is currently beaming too high. Many thanks
How is it beaming to high. You have HID (xenon) Low beams correct. ? They use projectors they should be aligned permentley to a desired level with a sharp cutoff.
on my 360 - if I turn my lights on facing the garage door - the left is shooting lower than the right. There must be a way to align. Thoughts anyone ?
I've got the same problem... one of my headlights is definitely higher than the other. I looked in the manual and it said "contact your authorized dealer" or something like that. Must be an involved process? Has anyone on the forum leveled their 360 headlights? Love to not pay $150 to have them leveled at the dealer. Add this to the list of things I wish my car had. My Porsche Cayenne S auto levels the lights everytime the headlights are turned on. Frank
the light beam on the left should generally be lower than the right. the lighting pattern of HID headlights with projectors is kinda kidney shaped, with a majority of the light emitted aimed toward the side of your lane in order to illuminate most of your lane and also oncoming pedestrians or signs. If you want to adjust them then you should probably check the projector light housing bracket. Also if you desire to remove the bulb which you shouldn't have to DO NOT touch it, as the oil on your skin will cause the glass to explode when the xenon gas ignites.
Adjust your headlight however you wish. In the front, lift the lid to the storage area and you'll see on each side rubber grommets. These will be alongside the headlight assemblies. Remove them, and you'll see two more much smaller grommets. Remove them and you'll see the phillips head adjusting screws.
