Regardless of warranty work unfortunately most dealers won't touch a Euro car.

As I noted in an earlier post on this forum, looking at the prices of Ferrari’s in the back of the latest issue of Cavallino I noticed a comment on how many Testarossas had been built. The number given was 7,000 and the writer wondered if that was too many to ever have their prices escalate. If 7,000 Testarossas is a lot, what does that say about 360’s with over 16,165 of them mass produced? I have to think they will continue losing value for a good while longer and when the new replacement for the 430 comes out the 360 will be both technologically antiquated and in surplus. So I have to wonder why $100K would be considered any thing other than the newest short term low price for these cars. History has shown us that F-cars will, once the NEW wears off, depreciate for at least 10 to 20 years before starting to appreciate. While this is true of most Exotic & collector cars Ferrari is the first company to produce 16,000+ of them. (The last statement is not true if you consider Corvettes to be exotic / collectable, which I don’t.) :)

While true, there are many variants of the 360, the Spider, Modena with 6-speed and F1 versions of each. All 4 have very different buyers. The Testerossa's were basically all the same.

    How many 6-speed Modena's were produced ?

IMHO, with F430's bringing $200k+ for a while to come, I doubt 360's will go much lower over the next few years. Even if they do continue to depreciate, it will be at a much slower rate than any newer alternative in the $90k-$120k arena.

So, is the 360 a safe buy ? I think so.

Totally agree with that.. Your 360 is sick man, wanna trade for a RUF GT2 hah ;)

BTW anyone have any info on this car?? The gys there were great with responses and help, but after i requested for maintenance history and so on I really don't hear back from them.. Sounds like an amazing deal, 2001 15 k and they will do the major servicing for 30k I believe! Thought's?? They said previous owner could not be reached to get the maintenance history?

Thanks ... glad you like it

It certainly isn't for everyone, but, if everyone liked it, I probably wouldn't.

You might have seen my other threads and I really want a Stradale... But now i'm just thinking if I should pick up a nice used 360 and just use money for other investments, I mean I can always pick up a Stradale after the winter , unsure on what I want to do.. I'm a huge Porsche guy but want to switch it up to an Italian badly ;)

I hear you loud and clear. I came into my 360 from a GT2 and haven't regretted it for one moment. My Ferrari buddies would always say "yeah, your faster, but we sound and look better". I couldn't get over the sound better part :D . Also, the engine under glass makes me weak in the knees:D

Problem is, I want to keep my RUF GT2 forever.. It sounds and feels NA, and is just so special! M3 is another car I need forever, can't get over them both.. So I guess I should go into the adding to garage stage, not selling and replacing LOL!!

Its actually more to do with taxes in Aus isnt? :):)
We pay Import tax, Luxury car tax and GST. :):)

A new 430 in US is what-US$250K+? In Aus, we are paying AU$500K+.
Is the factory selling cars to the USA cheaper than Aus? I doubt it. Thats why I think its all tax related. :)
I remember some of the smaller Countrys in Europe pay HUGE Import taxes ect........which makes Ferrari ownership hard over there unless you are really wealthy. I think some Countries around Asia also have high Import tax duty also. :):)

I could be wrong on this, but thats what I think mate. :):)

From someone who has seen G's car, it is awesome. Who ever gets it will truly love it, one of the fastest 360's on the road.

+1. Everything I have done had its due diligence period and I believe if you are going to purchase something, you purchase it right. I have a friend that always has issues with his vehicles since he doesnt talke the time to do the research. I am going to work hard for my F360 Spider; you get what you pay for if it is truly a deal. A car of this caliber; I want the whole package.

Car looks incredible. I'm assuming you lowered it.

If you don't mind, could you provide a little more detail on the drop and the wheels (i.e., width and offsets)? Much appreciated.

    The wheels are I-forged Aero's 8.5 & 11

I don't remember how much I lowered it ... I just kept turning the collars, driving, turn some more, drive it, turn a few more times, drive it ... ooops, too low, turn it up a few and align
