    Hi

    I`ve got a problem, my car is not charging anymore and I need to order my self a new alternator.
    Is there anyone who know wich manufactore the alternator is in this car? I`ve hoped it would fit from another car

    It`s more than 650km to nearest Ferrari dealer and I need a new one now!!

    Any one??

    Sorry, I used the search modul and found all the information I needed

    Answer was a Nippon denso 140 Amp..

    I would check threads for rebuild info, way less expensive! :)

    Someone on the 355/348 area the other day had one rebuilt for $100.00 Almost any alternator rebuilding shop should be able to do it for you.

    Be sure that you have the updated alternator ground strap on it. If not, get one.

    Please could you show or can you describe between which two points the ground strap is recommended to be attached.

    There is a stud on the back of the alternator...you attach one end of the strap there (double nut), and the other to a stud on the oil pan. The total length of the strap is about 7 inches.

    If you search the archives, you can find a thread or two with pictures showing the attachment point. It is not that critical, and an examination of the location will make it pretty clear where things should go.
