I'm thinking of getting rid of mine now that I got the 355 wheels, but I haven't really been able to pin point a price for them. Tires are new sumitomos with ~700 miles. Any ideas before I list them on ferrariads?

    Eric -

My 2-cents? The 348 wheels are so worthless in the market, it's probably better to just hold onto them. When I switched to Challenge wheels, I wanted to sell my 348's too. Looking at the market prices for them, I realized I'd rather just keep them as spares -- or in case the next owner of my car prefers them. Mine are now sitting in the rafters of my garage.

Ferrari parts don't get cheaper over time. Just hang onto them. At worst, they'll still be worth $1k down the road. At best, they'll be worth more.

good advice.... problem is I have them stored under the deck stairs so they are getting a little wet (not much) and will be exposed to freezing temps soon. I have no where else practical to put them since I am out of space in the garage.... will they get ruined like this?

Get a blue or silver waterproof tarp from Home Depot and cover them (make sure the bare earth side is covered too). They'll be o.k. The freezing temps won't necessarily hurt them -- but if water freezes/melts/freezes around little bits of them, then it could have an adverse affect. Are the tires still mounted on them?

I would definitely keep them also. It is not worth selling them, only to have to buy a different set later on when you go to sell the car. Most buyers prefer to buy with the originals and then change them out.

You could try putting them in large trash bags. Also maybe a new box of arm and hammer in with each wheel and twist/tape seal the bag. :)

We can all list them for sale on jeepcherokeechat.com!

They will probably get a premium over there!
