    First I've heard of it.

    Nice Ferraris.

    VW buses? Really. ROTFL :D

What was the cost, etc.? Who puts this on? Is it a charity event?

It is $40 at the gate. Here is the website http://www.rmconcours.com/home/index.cfm I know that Mr. Lopez the founder of the magazine Auto Aficionado is one of the Co-Chairman of the event. Thanks MRyan for the pictures, there is some definitely familiar cars in that group.

Very cool show, very fine cars and motorcycles, on a spectacular venue, all in my backyard! I wish I had taken a camera, there were some really beautiful pre-war Bugattis there too.

The 959's plates even had current month and year 08' stickers. He drives it on the streets! How is he able to get Colorado plates in euro stretch style? Pretty cool.

    Thanks for posting the pics.

Understand that Mercedes was the featured marque and a special tribute was made to Otis Chandler.

Otis and his wife Mitzy lived next door to us when I was a kid. He and his wife were students at Stanford. They were both atheletes. He was a track star. They worked out and lifted weights in the garage and wrestled with their two boxers in the front yard. They had a convertible but it was a long time ago and I was about 6 years old so I have no idea of the make or model. Pretty unremarkable so it must have been an American car LOL.

I've heard the story once, PCA meeting in his .......I guess one would call it a garage. By far, the most gorgeous car storage facility I've ever seen. Multiple 356s, 904s, and a few other noteworthy Porsches. I'll try to find out the story from one of the other clubbers in the near future.

I had a lot of fun and took a bunch of pictures, some of which I'll post tomorrow...my wife kept pleading with me for us to stay the night at the Broadmoor but unfortunately I forgot to pack a clean pair of underwear for the show :) With very little fan fare of this event I think the outcome was tremendous! Hopefully the RMC is around for many years to come.
