Now i feel old....thanks, really!
Doc here--present and accounted for, sir! Although I sold my '85 308 , I still check Chat every week and contribute to some threads. I'm presently driving and thoroughly enjoying a '92 NSX. I may get another Ferrari at some future point.
I still around but don't participate to much in this thread. Stay with the technical areas here and on f-talk. Enjoy the ride. Limerock tomorrow looks like it going to be a great day.
I've been here a long time -- don't post much now or back then -- but with the introduction of the sub-forum, hoping to see more diversified threads, leisurely runs, participation from vintage and classic owners, etc.
I remember asking Rob to set up a separate section for the Tri-State region all those years ago so that we could get together physically as well as online. First event set up on the Tri-state was the Hamptons Rally back in 2002 which had about 20 participants and we all had a great time. Then Adam G. (who is not on your list but should be) got married, and there went the Testarossa, and Bruce disappeared into batteryland, and Kenny H. grew up and has a real job now (and a cute girlfriend), and Will Hart and others kind of took a breather and I got a real job too Anyway, I'm around and do visit fairly often, but have to echo AMenasce's statements about the forum losing its focus (Andrew- good driving at the Glen last weekend. I enjoyed smelling your exhaust lap after lap after lap.... ) Congrats Rob on growing this thing the way you have. It's still a great place to visit
IM STILL HERE STEVEN, DONT VISIT OFTEN, AND CANT TAKE SOME OF THE YOUNGER FOLK SAW ADAM THIS WEEKEND, AND WISH IT WAS 2002 HERE...WHAT A BALL GREAT SITE ROB, GREAT JOB STAY WELL STEVE BRUCE
Using a walker no doubt. Remember the good old days? Gas was under a buck a gallon? You could smoke anywhere? And CD meant civil defense, not a silver disc which made music sound strident?
Hey, what about me?? I have gone thorugh two Ferrari's, one Lambo and 3 Maserati's... Do I still count??!!
Thanks Greg. Just got back from vacation. Vinny at Autoelite is finishing up an engine rebuild on the Khamsin and is just about to drop in the engine. He had to have alot of the parts (including the monster sized pistons) "made" for the rebuild. Just held the 2nd Center for Discovery Run...raised $1500 for my kid's school upstate. The Jag 420 and vette made it but of course the Lotus (Lots of trouble usually serious) died on the way down to the Dimmick Inn in Milford, PA....I'll post pics soon. Just registered to attend: The Vanderbilt Races on September 16th.....www.vanderbiltracecelebrations.com Hope to get the Maserati on the road soon! Jordan
