    I'll be using a C ratio cascade gear set, 153Km/h at 8000 rpm giving a 0-100km/h in 4.1 sec.
It will be sufficient for this course and pretty fast.

Hey absolutely, it's only for fun and on top there's no time keeping. Provided the weather will be nice it will be pure fun.

As usual, tons of replicas attended, unfortunately. There was even the infamous and horrible "Ferrari 330 P4", a total replica owned by a former Ferrari Club President. One wonders how long this person continues to try to fool the people? One spectator was almost killed in a nasty accident, this caused a big break, of course, and finally a helicopter had to fly him into the hospital. And one of the drivers with an extremely powerful engined (American) car had to be sent home because he didn't want to follow the rules and overtook other cars. And finally, the organisation was somewhat chaotic. Organisers sent small engined cars together with superfast racers on the hillclimb at the same time. And most drivers brought their race cars with trucks and trailers, but there was very little room to park these additional cars. There was also very little parking for spectators and visitors. A real mess.
    Just my 2 cents here.

well....It seems to me you are "little bit" disappointed ! Of course, the most bad new is the almost fatal accident...In this case, all the rest is not really important..

I am not disappointed at all. I am just down to earth and open and honest. Telling what the truth really is. This event was similar to the previous event held at Ollon-Villars a few years ago. But this year was clearly worse in terms of organisation and chaos. And as you know, replicas should not be allowed in a "historic" event where spectators have to pay and therefore can expect to see genuine old (historic) cars.

Have you really been there, as I didn t see the same event !

the infamous and horrible "Ferrari 330 P4", was show as a replica and the owner didn t claim that the car was real, he show his 400 engine ? to everybody and explain that he built the car himself and to my opinion, the car is quite nice ..see below
One spectator was almost killed in a nasty accident,= after the fining line, a car hurt a spectator but at goodwood, we saw drivers killed !
And one of the drivers with an extremely powerful engined (American) = A swiss collector had a Mc Laren and the clutch was very sensitive, then he had a 2 stickers pass who allow him to take a flying start like other Formula cars.

I m surprise that a swiss fanatic don t try to support his own country race

A complet collection of fantastic Abarth was there, 2 TZ, fantastic prewar from TOPS Club in England.
I agree that the selection of cars should have been precise but they are amateurs and we should respect this.
It was not perfect but the entree fee was a joke at 400 SF = 300 $ include a 4 stars room hotel !
I m sure that in the futur, with professionnal team, the event can be a big success.

This or an other fake 330 P4 is owned by Slavic. Is this the car?

In fact, checking my P4 Replica Register, there are more 'Fake' P4's per capita in Switzerland than any other country.
