So this is what I did over the weekend. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
'Had Un-restricted access in the paddock, pits and VIP area's for qualifying and race. Met the engineers, Kimi etc. Unbelievable hospitality. The top of the top for sure Watched from the VIP lounge above the Ferrari pit. It was amazing. Truely a once in a life time experience and this was my second time at Monza. Boy, I thought my friend had it good at Monaco, this blew that away. He hosted the McClaren team on the Yacht he works on. I never did find out what happen to Massa, so? What happen to Massa?
How were you able to do this? Did you win a contest on the radio? "the ninth caller get a trip to Monza and VIP tickets to..."
Your life sucks! VIP Ferrari access, house in Italy, working like a slave on a Gazillion Dollar yacht....
Thanks Ron; I asked but no one knew. We asked Kimi what happen in practice and he said he locked up the rear brakes. Ouch.

Martin: When I visited Monza last year during the F1 test a week before the GP I stole not a nosecone but...a piece of the banking! It was loose anyway I am sure some people would ebay it (!) but I am keeping it! I also have a piece of kerb from the old tertre rouge chicane at Le Mans and a race chicks bra from Sebring...no strike that one;-). Monza is awesome for the sense of history you get walking around and seeing the old banking in the woods. Seeing the cars brake from well over 200mph into the first chicane is amazing, you can't believe your eyes and Parabolica is a sight too they barely brake for a few tenths of a second, whack into the turn and flat out in the other direction.... I almost went this weekend but there was the GP, a major soccrer match and a fair so no rooms around Milan, will have to plan ahead for next year. Marc
