    While I do not own an F-Car (yet), I calculated the cost of my 29' Formula 292SR1 at just $200 per engine(s) hour of use. 50+ hrs a year =$10k NOT including purchase price.

    Slip = $3000
    Gas = $2400
    Reg = $50
    Trlr Plates = $100
    Ins. = $700
    Maint. = $1000
    Props = $1000 (every 2-3 years)
    Canavas = $1500 every 6-7 years

    Sound of twin unmuffled Chevy Small Blocks at idle or 5500 rpm PRICELESS!!

    Are you asking for the cost for "smiles per mile?"

    If a Ferrari was driven more, then wouldn't the cost per mile decrease? Ferrari's are meant to be DRIVEN! :)

    Enjoy!

    Not really over the long haul. More things wear out and you just drive into another belt change sooner.
