You know these cars have a resemblence to the Dino, and were made historic by Magnum, but the lines are clean smooth and so functional. Enzo obviously approved.

    Thanks!
yep...that sums it up in one word!
...this color combination was definitely key. I would have never gone for a standard color combo.
No, the 400 is not mine...but I took care of it for a couple month.
    Cheers, jan

Indeed color combo is magnificent. You should have participated in the beauty contest a month ago !
I assume you've seen that thread in this section. Loads of beautiful cars, buit i am sure yours would have been a tough competitor.
I see you have one of the very early ones. So.. is it the one with the fiber body ?

It's a steel body... '75-'76 were fiberglass from '77 on they are steel.
Yeah...I saw the beauty thread...I was considering, but didn't have enough pictures. I have to check back and see which car did win!

I've never been a fan of white for a Ferrari, but your GTB looks fantastic. Also, my only regret is not getting a GTB instead of a GTS.

I do like the GTB better for both looks and handling, but sometimes I do miss the wind in my hair. ;)

I think that the 308/328s are all so beautiful that white, usually not my favorite color for cars, looks very good on them. I love the contrast of the white body and black trim! And your red leather interior is fantastic in a white car; simply gorgeous.

Well, I'd expect you to be ahead of the 911. . .but an F-40, too? ;)

Cool pix! Thanks for posting. I'll have to try that sometime.

Haven't been on the track yet, but here it is last weekend on a lovely mountain road here in Colorado. . .

This thread is awesome. I'd love to have one of those beautiful 308's as my first Ferrari.

If you're looking for your first Ferrari, I'd recommend (as others have) to make sure you know how you plan to use it. For example:
    In the way of cost...
    - If you buy a perfect, pristine car with super low miles for lots of money, would you want to drive it?
    - If you buy a super inexpensive car, you'll spend lots of money on repairs and may be embarrassed driving it.
    In the way of usage...
    - Are you planning to park the car and only drive to autoshows (and the repair shop)?
    - Are you wanting a daily driver?
    - Are you wanting the occasional driver?
    - Do you have a family? If so, (like me) who would you be forced to leave at home due to the two-seater? :)

Although I know that finances often steers most of us toward the ultimate car, it's good to know what you are really wanting.
Personally, I got one in great condition but drive it fairly rarely. My wife hates it since I have to choose between her and our son when I drive it.

Check the other threads and you'll get other ideas from other owners.

Probably a year or two down the road unless the Baltimore RE market decides to go crazy again (it won't).

I don't need perfection, but I'd like one in good shape. I'd likely drive it 5k per year and since I don't have a family two seats would be just fine :). I've been reading through the other threads so I think I have a good idea what I'd be getting into.
