After months of hard work and dedication, I can finally show some pictures of my ultimate Pocher Testarossa.
So far, I am done with the most delicate parts. The engine won't be visible but I put the necessary details for a descent look.
What I dedicated the most is the interior, which is the main attraction. I have practically modified every part of it, being the most challenging the dash and console which was completely rebuilt. I was a bit worried of using leather, specially on the dash. I thought the dash would look too bulky. I had to sand all the edges to the minimum so the leather can fold nicely. There is still work to be done, but I am happy with the results so far. Take a look:

    Erick,

It is absolutely well done, I am speechless!!! Beautiful work my friend. This is the first time I have seen anyone covering the inner floor/storage panels with leather. Great work to say the least.

I wish more cars had interior stitching that looked as good as your model. That is impressive.

Thanks for the encouraging words Stephane. I did not want to leave any plastic visible. Funny to say I was a bit afraid of working with leather, but as I finished the seats, got better handling it. I want to cover the steering wheel too but I prefer to wait until I get a spare. I will post more pictures later on of how I made all the modifications.

I don't know exactly how many hours I spent building it. I mostly worked on it on the weekends full time.
Here are some pictures of the building process. I was thinking about a functional radio compartment, but I could not get a car radio in 1/8 scale :)

I noticed the green stuff. Are you using Squadron green putty? You should switch to tamiya putty. Definitely a step above Squadron. It would save you a lot of time.
    Again, great work!

Going this far, I can imagine you are going to improve the body and paint to!
Original paint is terrible quality, so to match the interior......

Are you using a scaledetails transkit?

    Good luck on the project!

I took a little time off sanding and cutting the metal chassis and dedicated into a new set of stickers for the Pocher Ferraris. I included some extra badges in different scales.
If all goes well, I will be able to print them professionally as stickers, not water slide decals. For this scale, stickers will look fine and are much easier to apply.
