Your response is very thoughtful and I sympathize. The problem is making sure we have the right guy. Suppose one day I see a guy I don't know talking to my neighbor's precious daughters. I shoot him and find out he is their Uncle whom I have not met. That scares me. Acting is good. Acting too quickly is dangerous. WADR to you because you are on the right track. Keep vigilant but, let us not act where deep regret can be the result.

BTW, the recent case of the woman caught in her car for eight days where she lost a leg and is near death owing to kidney failure is a case in point, where we assume guilt or involvement. Failure to act while interrogating her poor husband caused this tragic outcome. As to our kids. Let us act but, not in haste.

You have a good heart. Of that I am sure. Regards.

Don't get me wrong, I have not judged the suspect, nor am I calling for his head - that is until he is/isn't proven guilty.

Wanting absolute justice doesn't necessarily mean grabbing the 1st guy who possibly fits the bill and chopping his head off - this I don't warrant in the least bit. I am not saying shoot some guy talking to your neighbor's daughter, but definitely notify or inquire with the parents. If you were to catch him doing something highly inappropriate, such as what was found to be on that video tape, G*d forbid, then shoot him right there on the spot. Don't even give him a chance to possibly get off somehow with the services of a great lawyer, a la O.J. Simpson........

I know how you feel. But, we can't have vigilante rule. A read of "The Oxbow Incident" and "To kill a Mockingbird" might be instructive.

No way! This guy deserves to be put away and a$$ raped on a daily basis! These types are punished in prison for good reason. They are the lowest of the low! I don't have a problem with my tax dollars paying for this guy to die of rape in prison.

My wife and I will have a child one day, but these kinds of people make you think twice.

There are some seriously effed up people in this world. There should be a reward for the first person to shoot him.

Good behavior? Only if he cowers in the corner for a while. On second thought, his parents should have done that for him a long time ago. Now, it is up to his fellow inmates to take up the baton; so to speak.

You are very welcome, sir. Your children are as much my future as they are yours. Fact is. They are ours.

Human debris like this, doing this to children -- babies really -- should be slowly drawn and quartered. And if the truth be told, even that is too quick and too good for them.
