Since nothing posted recently I thought I'd mention a few automotive related spots that I found interesting:

for the French lovers...a black 1960's or early '70s Citroen, the type with the air suspension and covered rear wheels

for the bilingual...two billboards entirely in Spanish, one for the new Toyota Tundra, the other for Western Union

for the Tiger faithful...a Subaru with a Maine plate that read "LSU TGR"

 

Finally saw something worthy of posting...a two tone silverish Maybach with Texas plates on I-10 East. I didn't see any markings indicating if it was the super large 62 model or the merely very large 57 but if it was only the 57 then the 62 must be limo-sized.

Good spot. It must've been a 57 - I saw several 57s before I ever saw a 62 and I can say this: when it's a 62, you know it's a 62.

 

Spotted in the used car lot across from the new Lowes on hwy 44 in Gonzales.

Red 328 Monday morning West bound I-12 near Slidell

 

Was that really a 288 GTO in Greoff's Showroom in Metairie that I saw?


Saw if from a distance but the shape caught my eye. If it's someone's on here may I go look at it? Has to be one of the most beautiful cars ever made in my opinion.

 

I was over there today looking at it for the second time while my car had work done. It’s not real but it is nice. Made from a former 308. I was told that it has between 500 to 600hp; they didn’t seem to have a lot of info. The owner is asking just under 100K.

Red 360 turning off of West Esplanade towards East Jefferson on Thursday in the rain.

 

Spotted a Maybach 62 on I-12 West b/w Mandeville & Lacombe. ddemuro is correct; this thing was limo long, definitely bigger than the Maybach I saw earlier.

 

A black Gallardo (Spyder I think) on I-10E coming into Lake Charles late at night. I was in my Black NSX. This was a couple of weeks ago.
