Hello , i know everyone is tired of the exhaust questions but i was wondering if anyone has put on the cs exhaust and if it has a better sound ? I own a 2004 360 spider and if anyone is intrested in the same exhaust i have access to a few of them.

    Hi,
I'm currently looking around for a new box for my 360 and I'd certainly be interested in knowing how much these can be had for (I'm in the UK).

    Thanks,

    Mark

Hello Mark, do you know anyone with these exhaust on them other then on a s car? If so what do they sound like on the plain 360? or should we just put on the capristo exhaust? Also will cs do any damage to the plain 360??? hope someone can answer these questions.George

Your inquiry into which exhaust has been discussed to death and is completely subjective. Try doing a search and I'm confident you'll get enough opinions to confuse you even further. Installing a CS exhaust will not damage your 360. In fact, for the model year '04 the factory offered this exhaust for the 360 and called it their 'Sport Exhaust'.

Have you considered an X-OST without valves? Its size is comparable to a CS exhaust and sounds TERRIFIC!

I have done some research into this. The manifolds and Cats are identical between the Modena and CS. The CS box is the same as the 'Sport Exhaust' option as someone mentioned, and is also the same as the standard 430 box. If you put it onto a Modena, it will not sound the same as the CS as this had different valve timing to the Modena. The box alone is $3000/£1500 from Ferrari, but you may also have to buy the tail pipes which, IIRC, are around $1200/£600 per side. Personally, I have gone for the 8KG Tubi NGT system (being fitted in a few days).

    Good luck.

Any update on the Tubi NGT system? Pix? Sound clips?

I had one put on my 360 Spider, mainly because I was told that any other aftermarket exhaust would threaten the warranty. I thought that this was completely stupid of Ferrari, but having put on the CS exhaust, I love the sound. It really wails like a banshee at 4000 RPM. It isn't as loud as a Tubi at idle, but it is the right sound once you get going.
