UPDATE/CHANGES: Wide World of Cars/FCA Charity Run Sunday September 30th

There have been some changes to the event I mentioned in my other thread at the link just below.

The changes merit a new thread, so here it is:


The folks at Wide World asked me to post a thread here on their behalf.

They have arranged a rally for Sunday 30 September. It will be done Ferrari dealer style: start in the morning at the dealership, then drive to a site for lunch. Demetrio Merlino, formerly a sales consultant at Ferrari of Long Island, is now on the staff at Wide World of Cars, and he will be participating. The run will go via back roads to Stamford, CT.

The event is being sponsored in conjunction with Ferrari Club of America to benefit the Make a Wish Foundation. The event is also known as "Festa di Ferrari." They hope to have as many participants as possible not only because it will be a great day of fun but more importantly because the event's main purpose is to help those in need.

The itinerary is as follows:

9:30am: Breakfast at Wide World of Cars
11:00am: Police escort out of Spring Valley, NY
1:00pm: Lunch at the Italian Center in Stamford, CT

Cost is $150 per person. Any passengers are asked to contribute the fee because the proceeds will be going to the Make a Wish Foundation.

Prospective participants are asked to contact Jill Ravitz at Wide World of Cars: (845) 425-2600, ext. 250. She also asked me to post her e-mail address: <[email protected]>. It will be necessary to RSVP by September 20.

Prospective participants may want to do themselves a favor by mentioning my name when registering

HOLY CRAP! You got a Spyker C8? I love them and have never heard of anyone owning one privately. You are a lucky guy if so and where did you pick it up? Please post more pics please!!

It was a great weekend and I loved to drive the Spider and the Spyder.

 

Nice Spyker you got there. Not only the Spyker but the whole fleet... The first time I saw a Spyker for sale was in Wilsonville, Oregon and the funny thing is that it looks exactly like yours...even the color of the interior.
