I'm thinking about picking up a lightly used Quattroporte, specifically a 07 Sport automatic. My question is what is good price, I see a lot of inventory at high asking prices. At some point Maserati will have to do something to move the inventory, I’m trying not buy at the wrong time just before the market price changes. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

We test drove a QP last Saturday (two actually, an Executive automatic and a Sport DuoSelect). The salesman knocked off $20 K with absolutely no prompting from us. He said it was part of a special promotion, but I get the feeling they'll entertain just about any reasonable offer.

    Good luck. They're awesome cars.

Maserati sent me "another" flyer yesterday extending the QP test drive offer through October 31.

They're also offering lease deals on QP DuoSelect Sport GTs: $999/mo for 24 months. Here's the catch: $21K down.
