Welfare of the kids aside, who the hell should really care about this Bimbo or any other tabloid, Hollywood attention whores? I have a friend that is into all the chick shows, she reads People Mag cover to cover every month and rags her opinion all the time about people I could care less about. What drives people to pay attention to these parasites when we have brave soldiers getting blown up every day in the desert that gets zero press? Somebody please explain this to me!

 

Her case should not be on TV all day and is not news. I think this is bull. I also think the media is way too cruel to her. How would anyone like their personal business on the 5 o'clock news. It just makes you look like a dumb ass more than you are. I don't think all this is healthy. My favorite thing they have said is that she has a drink in front of her children. Who hasn't? I'm not talking about drugs here or having more than one or two. Almost everyone I know does that. Yet she is on the news for such a small thing.
She needs to grow up and get her self in gear. Maybe this will help her get it started.

 

I think Drew Barrymore would be a good example here. Talk about a meltdown and a comeback.

Anyway, the fact is this is a different entertainment industry than we've known in the past. MC Hammer isn't a good example, because today he would have been offered 20 second chances after the fact. People like the down-and-out-story; it sells books and gets TV ratings. The way I see it, Britney has a lot of money left to make in spite of her missteps. It's just what we've come to expect from the fallen. Book deal, centerfold, talk show circuit and endorsements lay ahead. If we as a society (and particularly the news media) would find better things to do, she would become another Kristi McNichol and fade away. It just doesn't happen that way anymore.

Dysfunction is everywhere, just look around. Kate Moss, despite her very public cocaine "problem", still continues to rack up millions in fashion endorsements. No one really cares what kind of example she's setting. The fact is she's news and that makes her even more (in)famous to those who need her to help sell their crap to people.

There is no such thing as bad publicity except your own obituary.

so britney lost her kids due to a missed alcohol and drug testing. you would think most parents would give just about anything up once their kids are born, for the sake and betterment of them, but man, some people.

 

I can see Brittney doing playboy pretty soon. Maybe after she works on her body, I think Hefner offered her big money awhile back, but she didnt take it.

are you serious? you haven't figured out that the majority of the human population is drawn more heavily to drama and train wrecks?! whats better than sitting down to watch/read about someone that is 9849237438 times worse off than you but has all the money in the world? its gold quality entertainment. you just cant make this crap up.

i'm not sure whether i should feel completely pity for spears or if i should laugh my ass off at the spectacle shes made of herself. say what you will about kevin, but hes worlds better than her right now. you dont see him out parading around town drunker than shiit, showing his crotch, and acting like a damn fool. not to the scale of britney anyway....and theres plenty of paparazzi that are itching to get a story on him too. spears has to be going through some kind of post partum depression or emotional meltdown. her behavior is nearly inexplainable. its just sad and hopefully these kids are too damaged by all of this.
