If you do have money and a high net worth, how do you know who's after you, and who's after your loot?
Did this chick ever stop to think these "plain Jane" women she speaks of may actually offer something that goes beyond their appearance? That's a fantastic response, however I just feel the original post may be a hoax. I've met some shallow gold-diggers before, but never one who would refer to herself as "spectacularly beautiful". That's crossing the line! RMX
I dont claim to have either - but - I wouldn't think it's necessary to flaunt one's wealth when dating. If you meet a girl at match.com for example, you don't need to arrive in your Bentley to pick her up and then take her to your mansion in the hills If a guy does that, he's opening himself up to gold-digging.
I have a close guy friend that does that and I tell him not too all the time! He shows up in his Gallardo, 360, Bentley, etc. and then drops $$$$$ on dinner, flowers... He's got the money, so I assume he figures why not? Unfortunately he attracts the most phony bologna girls, EVER! Poor guy, he's so nice and has a good heart, he just does too much for girls and they don't begin to reciprocate in courtesy, kindness, or genuineness.
Alot of times nice fast cars are ego trips so maybe this guy is a bit insecure and doesn't think he can get the girl without advertising his $$$$. If so, thats sad! But he's just reaping what he's sowing. Many girls I know wouldn't even want to go out in such a flashy car. They would either feel the guy is trying too hard to impress, or just wouldn't want to have to deal with the attention. Maybe he'll get the point some day
I have a boyfriend. Also, the other guy is just a friend and I'd never see him any other way, he's just not my type.
Bingo. +1000. The old "...because I deserve it" really takes the cake. I really dislike the "ladies who lunch".
maybe this john terracciano fellow is even smarter than we think. perhaps he concocted the original post so he could reply with his well thought out response without ridicule. imagine if he had posted his reponse as a stand-alone soapbox rant... "women are like depreciating assets"... "i make more than $500k/year"... "here is my contact info" he would not be getting the same rave reviews. this could be just a clever personals ad... how else can a guy announce his wealth, success, and contact info so boldly AND get positive feedback from the internet world?? plus it's free advertisement for his..... advertising company!!
I doubt advertising.com (if that is where the guy actually works) needs any business... and to lose their Femminazi clients.
Actually the guy who responded was incorrect, woman are not depreciating assets, they are depreciating liabilities.
Not really......as a woman gets old her worth "depreciates" (along with her looks) ,and as long as she is around she produces expense which is a "liability".
