Before anyone starts to talk bad about the Chinese marshals, they should verify what the rules are. I am not sure, but I remember hearing about a rule that says a car can not be pushed into pit lane. If this is so, then the marshals were correct. Just food for thought.....

 

and he was def unlucky here.
the commentators mentioned the irony of the situation. the large aprons where you can go off at 150mph odd and still not hit the gravel all round the circuit and then gravel right by the pit lane entrance.


im still not subscribing to the docs theory, though i do blame the team more thsn LH -i think they just saw the WDC was almost there and relaxed too much and took their eyes off the ball. bit like Jean Van de Velde at the Open Golf championship in '99
