No Italian animals in my garage yet (though my Gold Wing motorcycle handle grips were Made in Italy :D ) but I like to go into my garage and smoke a cigar there. I get to stare at my cars and enjoy a good smoke without being inturrupted. I even put a wide-angle peep hole in the door that goes from the dining room to the garage so I can look into my garage without opening the door. When my g/f moved in she knew she was with a certified car nut :)

I also like looking in other people's garages if their doors are open when driving by. I always smile when I see a garage that is actually used as a garage and not as a storage unit. My g/f will say, "You just saw a car and not cardboard boxes in that garage, right?"

I definitely stop to gawk at it whenever I'm in the garage for any reason at all (usually accompanied by the thought, "Damn, I love that car!")

I feel the same way about my esprit, I don't drive it too often, (a few times a month) but yesterday I drove it at least a few hours, then parked it.. then 30 minutes later had to go out and drive it again for another 30 minutes just to enjoy it again.. It's fun to have a hobby/obsession over cars.. true car lovers are people I always get along with..

If i had a ferrari i would definitly be a 'garage gazer'. I went to have a look around a local dealer at the weekend to gaze at someone elses until i get my own. They had 3 355s 2 430s, a 599 (£250k) and even a california spider which i have never seen in the metal before, very nice but im not sure it was for sale.

I sure dont have a wife problem. She spends almost as much time sitting in the garage looking at it as I do. Thats whats going to make 308's really expensive someday ya know, its just the prettiest car ever made. Period! You can walk around the car a million times and still find a line or a curve you never seen before. I have no clue how someone could form that car off a drawing, or how they could have ever even drawn it on paper in the first place. They outdid themselves.

How is the reliability on the Lotus? (Don't laugh, my TR6 is very reliable after I sorted her out from the DPO)

ROTFLMAO! Truer words have never been said. I can stare at my 308 for hours on end. When my son and I stop for something quick to drink at McDs or BK I always sit by the window just so I can stare at my own car!

the modifications on my car are fairly tame considering what is possible.. but they do make the car more "breakable".. if driven right I shouldn't do much damage though..

Maintenance is a *****.. and if you use the DEALER you will be paying ferrari levels of service..

I have a personal mechanic that is not afraid of exotics and is great. and even with his hook up I paid an extra 20k or so after purchase price to make the car "right"

Right now it's been very reliable the last 5k miles.. driving fantastic.. we'll see what the future holds..

308 is a VERY handsome car...

My home office is directly across from the door into the garage. I often open the door for quick peek, my wife thinks I’m a nut.

I store mine away from the house, because I would spend to much time with it if I did not. Here is a question, do you say "Hello" when you gaze at your Ferrari?

Every day, even when I’m very busy I always make time to pop in and say hello. On the days when I’m not so busy, I can be found sitting on a deck chair that is now a part of the garage decor, I will sit and look at it for as long as time permits, I wonder around it, blowing any dust that has settled off, if they keys are in my pocket I will open her up just to smell the leather...

I guess I am the same as many here, I still cant believe I have a Ferrari sitting in MY garage, a life long dream come true, but still it somehow still feels like a dream.

Oh, and I drive it every opportunity, about 5-6 times a week.

I don't own a ferrari (i'm not even out of school yet :( ), but I do find myself staring at my Dad's Audi Q7 and noticing all the clever touches, the germans have added in. Just today, I noticed that the Xenon lights turn are on mounts that pivot left and right. I also noticed that the lights "turn" as you go around corners or just turn the steering wheel. I also noticed that the side blinkers are LEDs. haha not a Ferrari, but the most expensive car, I have ever gotten to live with on a regular basis.
