Just got an email from my dealer's service dept. that says they are now offering NitroFill. It's essentially Nitrogen used to fill your tires instead of CO2. They claim that it will greatly decrease the amount of tire pressure loss over time, which will yield better tread life, gas mileage, etc. The cost to inflate 4 tires in their 'special offer' is $70.

Has anyone tried this stuff out yet?

Never heard of anyone using Co2. That would be rather silly.

I've been using nitrogen for years-- though the only real reason to do so is more consistent tire pressures at various temperatures. For the average street car there's not much point.

We use nitrogen in racing because it holds less moisture so is less succeptable to pressure changes as the tires heat up.
Agree, not much use for street tires, just a waste of $70.

I'd call the local gas company and get a Nitrogen tank of your own.

I've got Nitrogen in the GT3 and it's been great.
