    hey, I was on my way to NJ the other day, and a bit down the turnpike there was a a building that said Karosserie. It had a testarossa and a crumpled 360 it looked like from the road, with a bunch of other cars in the lot. I was wondering what this place is, and what they do?

    It's a high quality body shop. It is one of a few nationally certified to work on Audi A8's and other aluminum cars.

    I know that many of the bent up challenge cars end up there. They wander into Algar, then over to Karosserie.

    Dick Von Medicus is the head honcho there. It's an interseting shop, lots of fun stuff inside, too. They really know their stuff. He straightened out a problem I had with a bent BMW a number of years ago, after the first shop said we were all fixed. Car didn't seem right, he pointed out it was still "just a little bent."

    U.D. (That's Uncle Dave for those of you who haven't figured out the the little weasel posting here is my nephew.) :D

    Karosserie installed the roll bar in my Stradale and did a superb job. Rick Mullen (sp?) is an old school English wheel craftsman. It's a special shop.

    They did some work on my old Modial 8 when it was hit.

    Superb job. They are really expensive, but you get what you pay for. They are also very nice to deal with and handle all the insurance issues.

    Simply the best!
