And this comes from a Country that has one of the best standarts of living for its entire population.
While in Russia, I assume that unless you live in 1-2 of the top areas in St Pet or Mockva, your shed can slowly burn down (lit by so gentle neos-whatever) as the "firemen" are getting their final "vodka" shots from the gas tank.

Hmm, yea, that seems pretty prudent for a country with a poverty level nearing 50%, a full 20% of which (or 40% of the aforementioned 50%) live on a subsistence of fewer than 1,000 rubles/month. 1000 rubles = about $38.00

Russia is a fantastic country, and the people are very nice. I've been fortunate enough to visit twice.......let me tell you, Russian women as a whole puts US women to shame. Beautiful, dressed to kill every day, smile at you on the street.
