400i/412 exhaust compatability

Hi all, I have a Ferrari 400i 1983 and am looking at replacing the back sections of the twin exhaust. I have sourced what i think is a match but is for a 412. This part of the exhaust bends around and under the rear suspension arms so has to be spot on as the clearance is about an inch. From memory the difference between the 400i and 412 was interior and larger engine capacity only and the running gear and hence exhaust dimensions are the same? Please advise if you know.

PS I know some of you guys have fitted stainless steel exhausts to your 400's Did you get them made or is someone producing stock items
