The depreciation on these is that deep???

Never been exceptionally good on the Maser products. Unlike their Ferrari cousins these cars depreciate more like 'regular' cars. Good for those that can wait and get into the used market.

Not really. Just came across the price and thought it was a good buy. Looking for a new daily driver within the year and familiarizing myself with the prices of used cars. Not a fan of the coupe but love the convertible so I was just checking if it is worth the price.

If you are interested there is a Gransport Spyder on Ebay right now. Price is in the $70K range. Gotta like the car in red though. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2006-Maserati-GranSport-Spyder-RARE-CONVERTIBLE-REDUCED_W0QQitemZ230185358811QQihZ013QQcategoryZ6313QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Anyone got a feel as to future market values of these cars. I really like the GS and was wondering if I would ever be able to afford one. Do they fall in line like their CC coupe cousins or do they hold value better than the other Maser products?

The starting bid was $63,000. Don't confuse that with a "Buy It Now" bid.

I would bet the reserve was around $75-80k, but you will never know what it was now that the auction has ended.

Yeah, I get that, but the BIN price on the spyder that I posted is $76,000...for an 06 with less than 10,000 miles on it. How low do these things go?

BTW: Description says 'no reserve' and there was not one bid before auction end.

That's about the lowest I have heard for an '06 Spyder.

I was thinking that it's got to be one of the better priced spyders out there. Not crazy about the ivory interior, but I could get used to it. Now where did I put those 760,000 empty pop cans? :)
