There you have it... Nothing wrong with oranges - you just don't like them... I feel your pain though, I've had several occasions where I was looking forward to a game, only to get it and be unimpressed.
It is painful because the graphics are really good. Reminds me a bit of Outrun: Looks great, but has nothing to do with driving a TR. I'll resort to finish up Forza2. Also ordered DiRT for PS3, which got some good reviews. So far I have my XBox360 to play Forza2 and Guitar Hero.
Read above comments. If you want a sim that is focused on the technical aspects of racing, go for Forza. If you want a game that's focused on great visuals, dream cars, and beautifully rendered cities, go for PGR4. It looks great, I find the racing fun (if a bit unrealistic) and enjoy it in a different way than Forza. Forza by far is more challenging and unforgiving (if you make driving errors), while PGR4 is all about style...from driving to game appearance to taunting (if you're on a motorcycle). To me, it's equally as fun as Forza 2, just in a different way. It does look 100x better than Forza 2 though. The cars don't drive anywhere near as realistically, but handle infinitely better than Test Drive Unlimited or the NFS games. I think I'd actually compare it to Formula 1 Arcade mode on PS3 (looks great, sounds great, drives unrealistically). The engines do have the appropriate sound though, so all is not lost from a realism standpoint. Another gameplay photo...notice the condensation on the driver's window. I'm a huge PGR fan, the game is so easy to play yet so hard to perfect. The feeling of the cars is wonderful for anyone to just pick up and play. I got bored of Forza 2 after about 3 races, moved up to online races and found it no different, the physics are great (for the most part) but it doesn't immerse you in the experience like PGR. If you are looking for sim racers, pc is the only way to go.
One word : AMAZING ok not as realistic as forza, but a lot simpler to drive does any1 no how to tesdrive cars from the garage???? its soooo good, the weather system is just hectic and the incar views are fantastic graphics:amazing i cant beleive sum of u focus on realisticness! Go to the Paint that shows white and red, and then edit that. All you'll need to do is choose the color you want it to be, and then stretch the paint job out so that only your chosen color is there.
Thanks m8 i also love the way the led's on the wheels of the 599 and enzo light up! its so good the fxx is just insane (the noise is sooooooooo good) and the in car view is very convincing regards
go to custom match,pik the nurburgring f1 circuit,then pik lite rain add 3 or 4 other ai players,take a blue fxx nd let the ai players hav red ones nd then u hav ur own little fxx program,its insanely good

Ugh PRG4 online is awsome but the people cant race worth a damn... I go for the pass on a straight and *SLAM* they hit me, i crash and im out for the race basically. Or I start somwhere near the front and the first turn comes up and i get rearended cause they dont know how to brake haha I like playing that Bulldog game type though on Custom matches

i had the 6th best time on one of the macau tracks awhile back, but im selling my 360 so no more pgr4 for me
Its like tag kinda. One person starts out as the "Fox" and they have to go get all the "Hares" lol But once you get tagged or captured then you're also it until everyone has been tagged. I went a half hour as the last one to be tagged a couple days ago. I was on the Michelin Track in my Murci RGT.. I was going around the circle part of the track and dodging people and then I came back to the track and did a 180 back on to the twisties of the track and I hung out there for awhile... The foxes were still on the circle part for a long long time..
