    Hi -

Does anyone know of any good sellers that can get a 1999 Ferrari 360 at Fire Sale prices?
Does anyone or know of anyone that's a real motivated seller of their Ferrari 360 Modena?

    Thanks!

    Ray

Don't base your purchase solely on price. When it comes to Ferraris you need ALOT more information before making a purchase to save a few dollars up front. Service history is IMPORTANT. Other wear items like the clutch, brakes, etc. have to be considered. Do your homework before buying the cheapest one for sale. It may end up costing you much more in the long run.

I spent almost a year looking and can tell you the only fire sale cars I found ALL had issues; missing title, rain damage, major accident work, significant work DUE, or some other majore problems. Oh, and not ONE came clean on the car until I found issues with car fax ownership issue (mileage not matching or owner miles off), service dealer stating work was way overdue, or car was sent out for paint and body work.

There are no steals to be had on these cars, and if there is, I'd run as fast as your legs can carry you. Do some research and you'll see the nice cars are owned by caring people that are passionate about their cars. Buying one from a member of Fchat with some history would be ideal, in my opinion. Or, a nice dealer car, with the a stress on RECORDS!!!!

Do your homework, or pay on the backside!

    Jeffrey,

It may end up costing you much more in the long run.

It may end up costing you much more in the long run.

It may end up costing you much more in the long run.

OK, now my conscience is clear. I warned you three times.

Seriously, please get a proper PPI BEFORE purchasing a Ferrari. It will make the whole experience much more enjoyable.

you will learn alot about the specific car you are considering and hopefull alot about the new model you are getting into.

    Regards,

    Stew

I had a "Good deal" on a Ferrari cost me $30,000 at the drop of a hat...and I think I am a pretty good negotiator.

There are people who operate on this rule:

It is your job to be smarter than them on lies, un-spoken words open to interpretation, and they are very smart. Are you smarter? You better be.

I even had two "experts" give it a look over. They didn't catch it. You won't catch it until you own it for a while. Don't worry....I'm not talking about my beloved silver 360 spider....wish I knew who has it now.

do not rely on car fax. i had a viper that was crashed (significant hit on right rear). never showed up on accident or police report with car fax. saw it on a dealers web site that stated no accident known. car fax made it look clean. please take all the advise listed here by fellow chat members.
