Austin Ferraris?

I've heard that we have about 50 members in the Austin area who have about 100 Ferraris between them.

There is a great independent Ferrari shop in town called Moorespeed. The owner David is a consultant here on FChat. They have an SD2 and all the software. They are extremely competent!

We get together at least once a month for breakfast and we sometime go on drives through the Hill Country after the breakfast. We also occasionally have tech sessions at Moorespeed and social gatherings in the afternoon.
It's a great, non-pretentious group.

 

There's also another exotic (and they work on everythign else there too) service facility in Austin, Colvin Auto, OUTSTANDING place!

We have some events here but not nearly as many as the D/FW group.

 

Since this thread is more appropriately titled, I thought I'd keep my count of Austin Ferraris here.

Jawad, thanks for the compliment on my car. We have a good group of folks here and David Moore does a good job of maintaining the cars. Also if you have a warranty issue, there is a Ferrari dealership in San Antonio which is just an hour away. As you know, we are in the heart of the hill country with many great drives in the area. If your plans bring you here, we would be glad to see you at one of our monthly breakfasts.

...or tubing down the river with an ice chest of Coronas!

Hoping for some rainfall though......flow is pretty low right now...

I don't think so. What color is yours? Did you buy it from David?

 

We have three new F430s in Austin. Two are Spiders and the other is a coupe.
We also have one "new" 308 gts in town.

Baller. Austin is getting some fine cars. Where's the San Antonio action at!? Wes, get an Enzo here. . But an F40 is still pimpin'.

 

That's quite a list, Austin keeps bumping on up there with more and more Ferraris.

 

This thread hasnt been updated in a while...has anybody kept track? Please add my F430 Spider to the mix.

BTW, do you know who has the maroon colored 355 with an upgraded exhaust? I met him years ago on an Alfa drive and I can't recall his name...really nice guy.

 

If you aren't referring to me then I'm not sure who you are talking about. I'm not a professional photographer but I shoot as a hobby.

About the Ferrari, I believe you are referring to Tom M. He has a Rosso Barchetta F355 Berlinetta. It was the first Ferrari that I ever drove.
