Pretty amazing if true. GT2 Porsche clocked 3.6 and 11.9 per Road and Track. I think these are either typical Motor Trend BS numbers or cheater "test car" figures. I call media BS.
I have to agree here. MotorTrend and Car & Driver... well... take those tests, with the other tests, average them out, altitude corrected of course, and you might have some real world numbers. Perhaps, a better test would be from the Stig?
I guess we will find out soon enough if these numbers are real. But if it is, than this is one fast car. Not to mention that more HP is only a boost controller away...
Don't forget that Nissan will in all GT-R tradition leave plenty of room for easy modifications. So I'm guessing 50-80 hp release just with ECU upgrade and new exhaust system, something like the blistering GT2 engines. I'm just glad there is another option on the market for driving/performance enthusiasts. Many hate the looks but I think it's kind of cool, it's not trying to be stylish (thank God) but just mean and powerful, I think it will be a huge success considering the LHD option the previous didn't have.
Wow. I am now in full on love with this car. Those performance specs or anything near it are completely stunning.

The 7;38 time was on a dry track except damp in two areas. Not the same as a wet track. And the previous time was 7;55 ? I smell race gas and pressure cooker boost numbers. But all in all impressive the way the Supra Twin turbo was when it came out. Looks only a mother could love, or a disciple.
