Thats the norwood car from forza #37 that we talked about a few months back. Very nice and I want it. Just under 800hp at the wheels with a TR powerplant, yummmm....
hey guys , should I buy this??? not a collector car, but must be a blast, and if Norwood did it, you know its done right.
Yes you should. We can 'live' through you and your experience with this 800 hp monster. If in 5 years of having pure fun with it, some shrapnel separates this car from its pistons, Boxers will be worth enough to cover the rebuild back to whatever. Have fun, but you must promise to keep us posted, intrigued, envious. I hear Fridays are great days to make offers!
F40 performance with 12 cylinders in a BB for <$89k, great deal that car is under market understandably from all the mods for a BB, buy it if it checks out
everything was upgraded and the forza issue 37 covers it well. Wonder where the original engine went?
Its way underpriced, the owner traded it in for a 360 (duh!) and now I assume the place that took it in is selling it on ebay? What a deal. I would love to own this car and hope someone here picks it up.
I am seriously considering it.. the problem is it won't appreciate like our cars in the future..like putting a 454 in a 68 Z 28...(yes, I did that! ran 10.3 at 132 mph, otherwise worth 2c now!)
Yes its not going to skyrocket in value but it would be a monster, $90K toy. You could always return it to stock using the money from the powertrain later down the road when these cars are more valuable, but enjoy it in the mean time. The rear control arm pick-up points were also relocated to handle the whopper rear tires and rims.
Well it looks like it is at $79,400 right now on Ebay. Here is the only thread I can can come up about it: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=165155
I have been watching this car for awhile. The owner that traded it in for a 360, actually bought if for 57k I believe at The Worldwide Groups' Dallas auction in fall of 05. I was considering a phone in bid but couldn't get any info on the car at the time. He did all right if it was an even trade - doubtful! I'm sure it's a monster and a gas to drive!
I love this Boxer. I think it's an INCREDIBLE deal but, I'm not ready for it this time around, hopefully the new owner will keep it nice for me. Aaron
